The Association has been formed to represent and act as a Society of the buyers of apartments in the AMBER Project, developed by The Unitech Golf and Country Club (UGCC), located at Sectors 96, 97 and 98, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Founded in 2013, the society currently has 200+ registered active members.

New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) authority had leased out land to Unitech Group in the year 2006 for construction of dwelling units for residential and allied purposes. On the basis of the lease, Unitech issued brochures showing Amber project in all its charm. The brochure highlighted amenities available in it and luxuries attached to it. Carried away by the way Unitech presented it, we booked our dwelling units with a hope of having a lifetime opportunity to live in a premium golf-course centric residential neighborhood.

Said to be a project made for an ultra-luxury living, it offered spacious 3 & 4 bedroom apartments (range in size from 2230-3473 SQ FT) in 7 exquisitely designed towers with panoramic views of the golf course. It is located in sector 96, right on the Noida Expressway and is minutes from the nearest metro station at Botanical Garden.

Unfortunately, even after paying 95% of the total amount that we supposed to pay to builder the Unitech Group for the possession, our dream of having a luxury living is yet to fulfil. Our multiple requests to the builder went unheard and unaddressed. It seems they are unfazed of our agony and misery we are up to.

Builder’s constant denial has put us (buyers) under serious financial stress. Apart from our hard-earned money that we almost lost to the investor, constant pressure from bank authorities for payment of interests is adding more to our miseries.

As a last resort, we request all the buyers of AMBER project to join the association to raise a collective voice against the misdeeds of the builder the Unitech Group.
